Hello,
That's a great idea! I think I already proposed it before but I don't remember what Fabounet said about that
When launching an application from the Applications Menu, the dock knows which launcher is used (with which icon, class, etc.) and it can be interesting to immediately add this launcher and starts the animation until the corresponding application opens.
@fabounet: what do you think about that? |

the thing is, do you really use the Application menu to launch a program that has a launcher in the dock ? |

do you really use the Application menu to launch a program that has a launcher in the dock ? Yes and no:
- We can launch firefox from the application menu by using the shortcut to display the menu and write 'fir' than press the Return key. It's interesting when you're already using the keyboard
- But if I launch an application which has no launcher in the dock, it can be interesting to quickly add this launcher on the dock, animate it and stop the animation when the application is really launched.
