Hi! I love Cairo Dock, & would like to propose couple of things:
1. Possibility of full replacement standart panel with cairo dock, I mean tray: now I cannot replace tray, because dock's tray does not have all the icons in it, e.g. Skype, dropbox etc. This is the only thing that does not allow me to get rid of standart panel in my KDE.
2. Possibility to make taskbar more look like standart one, I mean: now we have this http://joxi.ru/uploads/prod/20130921/cd8/9c8/784d542500e0204c2fbfa602ec1e5239dee93e2e.jpg?v=2.3.6 I propose this http://joxi.ru/uploads/prod/20130921/53d/03f/3e175e060f2a27e02c3a77d4f6401d16b55eadd1.jpg?v=2.3.6
and option to regulate its width.

Thank you!

about the systray, there are 2 applets:
Notification area and Old Notification area
I believe that on KDE, you can use Notification area and it will have all the icons (at least, on Ubuntu, I have skype in the Notification area)

I can't see the pics from here, I'll see them later

Thanx for your answer.

I did try these applets, here how they look like
http://joxi.ru/jKJKUtg5CbCIJYgImC0
that is not exectly what user expects to get. Here is my native tray
http://joxi.ru/A6NKUtg5CbCIJdxiQS4
As you can see, it has more elements then even both applets - Notification area and Old Notification area and they are on the same line

ok, I see
well it seems that some applications use the new protocol, and some don't use it yet
unfortunately, the only way to solve the problem is to report this to the devs of the different applications
they should migrate to the new protocol, since anyway X will disappear eventually

PS: about the look, you can resize the desklet with ALT + middle-click (or ALT + right-click), and you can also move it next to the old systray, this way it would make like 1 systray
