Hi,

imagine you have opened several instances of the same program. The instances' application names are of the form

file:/home/myHome/Files/Subfolder/FileA.pdf
file:/home/myHome/Files/Subfolder/FileB.pdf
file:/home/myHome/Files/Subfolder/FileC.pdf
file:/home/myHome/Files/Subfolder/FileD.pdf

These application names are too long to be displayed in the corresponding sub-dock and are going to be displayed this way:

file:/home/myHome/Fil...
file:/home/myHome/Fil...
file:/home/myHome/Fil...
file:/home/myHome/Fil...

The problem here is, that you have to click on each of the entries to see which file it is. My suggestion is to place the ellipsis in the middle of the application name:

file:/home/my...FileA.pdf
file:/home/my...FileB.pdf
file:/home/my...FileC.pdf
file:/home/my...FileD.pdf
