Clipper is nice, but I think it really leaks something:

I param Ctrl+Shift+V to show the popup (nice)
but after that If I want to select the 2nd item, I have to clic (ok) or use arrow down twice (because item 1 isn't selected at begin) .. it would be nice to select it as pop-up !

then after clicking the item you have to made a Ctrl+V to paste ! Why not paste directly after selecting ?? (click or return key) .. It could be activated by an option if someone prefer classic one.
To do that you just have to reactivate last focused window and paste I think.

ok for selecting the first item by default.
as for the automatic paste, I'm not sure it's really feasible (you don't know the widget that is currently selected).
