Fedora cairo-dock is now available on all supported branches on Fedora. As of 2015-May-13, the available version of cairo-dock on Fedora is 3.4.1.
Installation For general installation of Fedora's cairo-dock, just do this.:$ sudo yum install cairo-dock
This will install the default set of cairo-dock related packages on Fedora, including
- cairo-dock-core
- stable plug-ins (except for weblets, which can be installed seperately)
- gnome/kde/xfce integrations and python2 bindings are also installed.

Due to some policy of Red Hat sponsoring Fedora, zoom effect is disabled on Fedora's cairo-dock packages. If you want to see zom effect, see the below RPMFusion section.
RPMFusion For people who wants to use zoom effect, it is packaged on rpmfusion repository.
First, enable rpmfusion repository as below.
- Fedora 22 and rawhide user
$ sudo yum install http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-rawhide.noarch.rpm
- Fedora 21 user
$ sudo yum install http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-21.noarch.rpm
- Fedora 20 user
$ sudo yum install http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-20.noarch.rpm
Then please do:$ sudo yum install cairo-dock-freeworld
The above installs the default set of cairo-dock related packages on Fedora side(core and plug-ins), plus rpmfusion side cairo-dock-core. With this, you will see zoom effect is enabled again (please restart cairo-dock).
