|You will need to install the following packages :
build-essential libcairo2-dev libgtk2.0-dev librsvg2-dev libglitz1-dev libglitz-glx1-dev m4 autotools-dev pkg-config libtool
As a side note, if you have an AMD64, you probably also have to install libglitz1-dev. This command should normally be enough :
sudo apt-get install build-essential libcairo2-dev libgtk2.0-dev librsvg2-dev libglitz1-dev libcairo2 librsvg2-2 libglitz1
In a terminal :
sudo apt-get install build-essential libcairo2-dev libgtk2.0-dev librsvg2-dev libglitz1-dev libcairo2 librsvg2-2 libglitz1 libglitz-glx1 libglitz-glx1-dev m4 autotools-dev pkg-config libtool
Caution, there is a problem during the compilation with AUTOMAKE 1.10
Please use AUTOMAKE 1.9 VERSION.
Download the .tar.bz2, decompress it, open a terminal then move in the repertory created and type this :
autoreconf -isvf && ./configure --prefix=/usr && make
sudo make install
The program is installed in /usr/bin.
