First of all, I love the cairo dock, and I have been using it for a while. Here is my issue, there is an application I added manually as a custom launcher by setting "command to launch when click". The same command works in terminal, but when I click on the launcher in dock, it shows the fancy 3d effect but does not open the application. How could I fix that? Thanks.

Solved. The weird thing is that I put one path in the "command to launch when click", but it tries to use another path (no idea why???So what I did is to create a symlink for that path.
