Don't forget to read our very complete Wiki (www.glx-dock.org/ww_page.php) !
But don't be shy to post all your questions or bugs here !

However before you post a message on the forum and to speed up things, don't forget to include as much informations as you can (if it's possible ):
    • The version of Cairo-Dock ('cairo-dock -v' in a terminal).

Ver. 3.4.1
    • Your GNU/Linux distribution (Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.).

Fedora 22 64-bit Intel
    • Or you using OpenGL or not.

Not using OpenGL for Cairo-Dock
    • Your Window manager (Compiz, Metacity, Kwin, Openbox, etc.).

marco (used to be Metacity)
    • Your Desktop Environment (Gnome, KDE, XFCE, etc.).

MATE 1.10
    • How you got the bug and therefore the answer to the question 'How can the bug be reproduced'.

An error msg. appears in Red when I use Yumex to try to upgrade Cairo-Dock.

Here is the error msg:

Dependency Resolution Errors:

Multilib version problems found. This often means that the root
cause is something else and multilib version checking is just
pointing out that there is a problem. Eg.:

1. You have an upgrade for cairo-dock-devel which is missing some
dependency that another package requires. Yum is trying to
solve this by installing an older version of cairo-dock-devel of the
different architecture. If you exclude the bad architecture
yum will tell you what the root cause is (which package
requires what). You can try redoing the upgrade with
--exclude cairo-dock-devel.otherarch ... this should give you an error
message showing the root cause of the problem.

2. You have multiple architectures of cairo-dock-devel installed, but
yum can only see an upgrade for one of those architectures.
If you don't want/need both architectures anymore then you
can remove the one with the missing update and everything
will work.

3. You have duplicate versions of cairo-dock-devel installed already.
You can use "yum check" to get yum show these errors.

...you can also use --setopt=protected_multilib=false to remove
this checking, however this is almost never the correct thing to
do as something else is very likely to go wrong (often causing
much more problems).

Protected multilib versions: cairo-dock-devel-3.4.1-1.fc22.i686 != cairo-dock-devel-3.4.1-1.fc21.x86_64
