Hi, I just installed Cairo-Dock with Netspeed from the repositories on Linux Lite 1.0.8, which is Ubuntu 12.04 based. It did not recognize the ethernet port. It's just a standard mobo port, and network-manager 0.9.4.0 sees it as eth0. So I left click on the icon, and go through netspeed/Edit/Configuration, and enter "eth0", and click on "ok" and "close". Still nothing. So I click on the icon, and I get an error message:
"Interface 'eth0' doesn't seem to be exist or be readable. You may have to set up the interface you want to monitor. Do you want to do it now?"
So I click on the green check mark, and it opens the configuration tab again..with eth0 still in it. What am I doing wrong? I've used it before, and it always just worked. Just for grins, I also tried 'default' and 'Wired interface 1', but nothing there either. Any suggestions are appreciated, and thanks in advance. |

Hello,
Which version of the dock are you using? I think that this bug has already been fixed in a previous version. Maybe can you try to add our ppa for Ubuntu 12.04? |
