Been using the dock very happily for a couple of years; my primary interface is Cairo-Dock on the top of my Ubuntu screen, running Gnome desktop. I'm in the middle of upgrading from 12.04 LTS to 14.04, and one the most most annoying problems so far is clicking on an icon on my dock's Shortcuts applet (slide-in)... somehow the shortcuts now open with VLC!! (This is for existing, migrated, shortcuts and new bookmarks created in Nautilus). Also it happens with either Drive/disc links as well as bookmark, and also using the Quick Browser applet, but not with files in the Folders applet. Very, very annoying.... |

It wasn't a big problem to fix it; I used the file-manager function of Ubuntu-Tweak. I just couldn't figure out how the upgrade to 14.04 scrambled the folder/inode link like that... |
