matttbe,
Ubuntu Lucid reached EOL (end of life) today. Did support for Lucid end today as well from Cairo Dock? I assume so. Also, where do you move your EOL versions of Cairo Dock? Are they still accessible by users?
Thanks. :).
Later...
Bob
Never mind my question. I see after visiting your ppa that you still list Hardy as available for download.
Thanks.

Hello,
We'll not remove Lucid in the PPA but it's possible that the next versions will not be available in the future (or can no longer be compiled) on Lucid.
(BTW: EOL = no more security updates. It's advised to install Ubuntu 12.04.2 Precise (and you can use the Cairo-Dock session on it ) ) |

Hardy... wow that's old
and at the same time, good to see that some open-source code can live more than a few years (sarcasm) |

I'm glad to see the Hardy version lives on. Somewhere there's some poor soul still on Hardy who's doing a search for a great dock to use, stuck on dialup, but soon to find your ppa site.
P.S.
Matttbe and you (fabounet), are great dudes. Always very helpful. I like both of you all.
Best regards,
Bob |
