Hi all,

i have a Fedora 18 running with glx dock in version 2.4.2 and the calendar applet v0.0.7. My Problem is that the date on the icon won't update until i go into the settings of the calendar applet and click apply. How to get this done automatically?

thx and greetings from lower bavaria

Tobi

Hi,
I think this problem has already been solved in 3.0 or 3.1

By the way, I've just made some rpm for the upcoming version 3.2, maybe you'd be interested in testing them ?
They are here (64bits only at the moment, 32bits will follow): http://download.tuxfamily.org/glxdock/repository/fedora/fedora-18/x86_64/

Hi fabounet!

thx for your reply! I'll try the rpm packages. Do you know why Fedora still delivers the old v2.4.2 and not the 3 series?

have a nice weekend

Feel free to simply notify the maintainer of Cairo-Dock packages on Fedora

not only that their version is very outdated, but it lacks a lot of applets !

Hi fabounet!

Sorry for my late reply, busy times I downloaded and installed the rpms from your link above and they work. The only thing i noticed is when the dock is set to autohide, there will be shown a white line ca 50px above the dock which then disapears.

Today i switched to your repo. Thx for that!

Keep on the good work! oh, and have fun!

I think (well I hope ) that the rpm for fedora18 can work on fedora19 as well
do you have a way to test that ?

@Guest: It seems these packages are not compatible with Fedora 19 but you can now use RPMFusion repos! Packages have been updated (and our wiki too)

Hello,

Did you install cairo-dock-python and cairo-dock-python3 packages?

Or they should be automatically installed when installing 'cairo-dock' package.
