Hello,

Recently, GMenu has been improved to use gio to launch the menu entries, so that the event is stored in Zeitgeist.
It's a good idea but why can't we have the same thing with Cairo-Dock's launchers?

as we said, it can be interesting if it reduces our code

But if GIO is available, it can launch the application (it can use the .desktop of the launcher). The code can be added in the integration plugins

no need to have 2 codes for the same thing
we should replace, or not use it
I think we can replace if it shortens our code

Except that it's a new dependence and I don't know if it's correctly supported on other DE.
