My Linux is OpenSuse 12.1. I compiled Cairo-Dock and Cairo-Dock-Plug-ins and all right are installed. But the system tray I have not. I have only the old system tray, that works not correct. Please, help me. How I can to see the real new system tray? Cairo-Dock version is 3.0.2. Last. KDE.
Sorry for my English. |

Hello,
I compiled Cairo-Dock and Cairo-Dock-Plug-ins and all right are installed According to our wiki: since version 11.4, it seems the following packages are no longer supported: libgnome-menu indicator3(-0.4) (libido3-0.1) dbusmenu-glib(-0.4) dbusmenu-gtk3(-0.4). This means that though the compilation is still possible, the following functions will not be available:-- - with GMenu applet: no
-- - with Me-Menu applet applet: no
-- - with Messaging-Menu applet: no
-- - with Sound-Menu applet: no
-- - with Status-Notifier applet: no
-- - with Application-Menu applet: no
Can you check if you're able to install these packages: libgnome-menu indicator3(-0.4) (libido3-0.1) dbusmenu-glib(-0.4) dbusmenu-gtk3(-0.4). (I guess the name should be gnome-menus-devel, indicator-devel, etc.
If no, I guess the better solution is to report this bug to OpenSUSE maintainers |

that's a pity for libgnome-menu, and I see no good reason !
the other ones are more Ubuntu-oriented, so that's probably not a big deal in your case |
