Hey everybody. My english is not perfect but I think I'll got more chance to be answered.

Cairo dock is a great project. I'm to upgrade my 10.04 ubuntu LTS to Mint Maya LTS.
It's a generational upgrade, and I'm chosing beetween new shells.
I'd like to keep Cairo dock; better, to configure new Glx Dock

But I please need to know : is it possible to have more bars opened in the session,
anyone with its stable configuration ?
I didn't got the answer of this simple question on the wiki or elsewhere.

Sure! Just as before

(but of course, it's not adviced to place a dock above another

)

Note that it's also possible to use a Cairo-Dock session

ok I can launch another instance of the dock and change its position and properties,
but when I restart the computer clearly the configuration in ~/.config/cairo-dock
have been overwritten from the second bar. How shall I do to keep a configuration
for every separate dock ?

the answer is to use the "-d folder_path" option to start the second dock

(although most of the time, it's better and easier to just make another dock, just move an icon to "a new dock" from the menu, or select "add a new dock", again from the menu)
