I want to remap the Applications menu to just my windows key on the keyboard. I was able to change it but it always required two keys, I was hoping to make it just the one. Any suggestions would be great. |

I guess he would like to just set the windows (super) key as shortcut.
But as this key is a modifier to change other keys property, that won't be easy.
@jmprnbr1 : Maybe it's possible to remap this key with xmodmap |

I want to just use one key instead of a combo of keys, can it be done with just one key like the key on the regular desktop. The windows key maps to application menu. That's all I want is that one key. Thanks |

I think you can use the "windows" key only, but since it's often used in other shortkeys, you may have some side-effect.
if the selector doesn't allow that, try to enter "<super>" directly |
