Maybe this is something I just never noticed before. If you open up the configuration menu by right clicking on the dock and click on an item (without activating it with a check-mark) that has never been installed before it opens up a totally blank screen. Once you put a check-mark (install the applet) , from that point on and in the future the configuration menu displays correctly whether the applet is activated or not.

For it's a bug because there is no other message and the configuration is not reloaded
