hello forum,
I recently updated to version 2.3.0~1 on Lucid and since then I have the following issue:
I'm using cairo dock with the visibility option: Keep dock hidden (I don't know the english expression cause I'm using it in german).
In the dock I have the Menü "Anwendungen" (menu "applications") located under desktop activated. The menu appears when pushing <control>F1.
In most circumstances the dock works as it should (it appears, when my mousepointer hits the lower border of the desktop).
But as soon as I use the shortcut <control>F1 to activate the applicationmenu, the cairodock keeps hidden.
It is still working, because <control>F1 is still working or when I opened the configmenu for cairodock before using <control>F1 and I change the visibility option to anything else it reappears.
Any suggestions? |

Hello,
Thank you for this bug report!
But as soon as I use the shortcut <control>F1 to activate the applicationmenu, the cairodock keeps hidden. How long? Because it seems I don't have this bug. Are you using Compiz (desktop effects)? Where is your dock (on the bottom?)? |

Thank you for answering.
How long? Good question, I don't know. Until I realised it is happening when using the shortcut for the applicationmenu I just killed and restarted it.
I just tried to logoff and reloged in, then the dock worked again. As soon as I used the shortcut <control>F1 for the application menu it dissapeared again.
I'm using compiz and I start cairo-dock with parameter -o.
The dock is at the bottom.
If you need further information please let me know. |

that's strange, I'm going to add a task on this topic to try reproducing it at home.
does it also occur with the "Clipboard history" applet ? (it also has a shortcut to display the Clipboard history in a menu)
or with another shortcut ? |

Just tried it with the shortcut for the history of the clipboard (clipper) <control>F8: dock is still working. |
