Hello,
First let me thank you for cairo-dock. I use it everyday for more than a year and it increased my productivity by a lot.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 with cairo-dock upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.0~1 yesterday and Netspeed applet v1.2.5 and I'm having this minor problem with Netspeed, that by the way started a considerable time ago after an upgrade, I can't remember which.
1. Netspeed is configure to on-dock, Turbo-night gauge, interface wlan0
2. If I configure the values to display on-icon, the gauge needles move, so it's sensing traffic, but the values both display zero, no matter what.
3. If I configure the values to display on-label, the gauge needles move but the values are hidden, they don't show. However, when I place the mouse pointer over the applet, the values show up and display apparently correct values. They hide again if I take the mouse away.
I would like to have Netspeed correctly working, it's a very useful tool.
Rgds,

Hello,
Thank you for this bug report!
Is it just possible to post here a link to a screencast (or two screenshots ; don't hesitate to use gtk-recordmydesktop and our Drop to Share applet ) in order to have se the difference with next future version of this applet. |

Thank you for your reply.
As you requested, I attach three screenshots to illustrate the problem:
screenshot1: configured "on label"; notice the needle, there is traffic but values don't show.
screenshot2: configured "on label"; values show when you place mouse pointer on applet; mouse pointer doesn't come out on screenshot.
screenshot3: configured "on icon"; values always show zero althoug gauge needle shows traffic.
I hope I'm doing the attachement correctly because there's no preview mode to check.

Obviously this is not the way. Please direct me to a site with instructions for inserting images besides inserting link to uploading server; that one I know and I don't like it because after some time files are deleted and future users don't get the chance to see them.
I could also use a way to edit my messages, although I'm not registered. Preview would be nice also.

Thanks for the merge, always so fast
Could I change the labels to arrows : ? and ? so they would have the same size and I could have both displayed (and not only the smallest one) |

the forum don't allow me to post the UTF8 arrows, but I'd like to use the same as in ON_LABEL
On the screen you can see that my graph can't display the "DOWN" text because available space isn't large enough, but I still have the "UP"
