Hi there,

I run cairo-dock 2.2.0-4 on Ubuntu 10.04, installed from repository. Cairo runs as OpenGL, in a Gnome environment with compiz effects enabled.
I have also kept a gnome panel, for the calendar linked to Evolution (since the cairo's calendar linking to evolution feature appears to still be in development, as I understood).

It really looks great, and I'd really like to keep it.
Though, I have a minor but still annoying issue:
the position of the notification area is not locked.
Anytime I enter a x-y position in the settings, it changes randomly. For example, I type 0-0, and it gets 124-359.
I even cannot ask a 0-whatever or a whatever-0 position, which would suit me...
And... when I finally save a suitable position, and just use the computer (internet browsing, e-mail client use, whatever), well, the notification area moves within the screen...

I purged and reinstalled cairo, restarted the computer, but it didn't make any difference...

any idea where it could come from?

Thanks for your help!!

usually you just move desklets with ALT+left-click (and shift if you want to activate snapping window borders)
sometimes it moves a little horizontally if new icons are added or removed (because its size changes), but it shouldn't move vertically.

hello
Fabounet => francais, peut etre?

merci!
