Hello !
Thank you for this proposition! I've updated the wiki in order to have Russian in the available languages' list and also to write in "Cyrillic".
As I said there: I think that the most important thing is to fully translate the application before the wiki => https://translations.launchpad.net/cairo-dock (it's mostly done )
After that, of course it can be interesting to also translate our wiki. You can find some tips here
But can you start to translation some sections which are most important like: The home page, the installation, the first launch, the recurring problems (the FAQ is the help module of Cairo-Dock, so it's not important to translated it twice, you can specify that they can have a look at the Help module ) and maybe the installation with sources code from BZR.
Thank you!
PS: I also fixed the "wiki search" |

I am Alyx Nikolaenko. Application is fully translated by me, except one error string in Cairo-Dock:Plug-ins :
--------------------------------------------------------
698. English: e size=true
F[Decorations;gtk-orientation-portrait]
--------------------------------------------------------
I think, it must be corrected.
Thanks for wiki, i will start to translate as soon as possible. |

I began to translate with the section "Install." Do I need to translate page titles? Such as: "W: By distributions" "W: From BZR" ?
Installation
Follow the instructions below if you want to install Cairo-Dock. (Pour le français, c'est ici)
- Install the stable version of the dock
- Install the development version
Because title page in Russian looks wrong encoding:
Now i translate page titles back to english. |

Yes, you've to keep English titles (in fact, just don't use words in Cyrillic).
So I've updated this webpage http://www.glx-dock.org/ww_page.php?p=By%20distributions&lang=ru.
As you can see, it's maybe better to use a link that [[w:English Title|Russian Translation]] and then, go to the corresponding English wiki page, click on the 'Translate' button, copy the English title in the 'title' box and start to translate
Thank you
PS: now you can write a 'description' in Cyrillic |
