GnoMenu Applet
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic, regularly updated and connected to the Cairo-dock weekly repo.
Cairo-dock 2.1.3-1
Dell M1330 Nvidia graphics card with recommended driver.
I installed the GnoMenu and the WindowKiller applets. They both were in the accessories menu after a Dock restart, that's great!
I activated both and the 2 new icons were added to the Dock, perfect!
I tested WindowKiller and it works, very good!
GnoMenu does nothing when I click it's icon. It rotates when clicked as all my icons do when each is clicked but no action follows when I click the GnoMenu icon..
I checked Synaptic and Gmenu is installed. I debugged the dock and GnoMenu says "No Action" when clicked.
Debug output from GnoMenu left click:
debug : (cairo-dock-callbacks.c:cairo_dock_on_button_press:1315)
clicked on GnoMenu
debug : (cairo-dock-callbacks.c:cairo_dock_on_button_press:1210)
activate GnoMenu (GnoMenu)
debug : (cairo-dock-callbacks.c:cairo_dock_notification_click_icon:1157)
no action here
cd_dbus_applet_emit_on_click_icon (GnoMenu, 256)
emit clic on main icon
message : (cairo-dock-animations.c:cairo_dock_start_icon_animation:757)
cairo_dock_start_icon_animation (GnoMenu, 2)
I cannot see any easy way to add an action to the GnoMenu .conf file.
Am I missing an application that the GnoMenu is calling?
My Dbus works because I am aware of some other functions which require Dbus and they still work. |
