I recently installed Ubuntu 9.04. I'm using Compiz as my desktop manager. I'm using the Nvida proprietary drivers version 180 with a Quadro FX Nvidia card.

I have installed the latest version of Cairo-Dock. I'm unable to enable multiple modules.

I can click on the icons for any of the modules and change their settings. However I'm unable to check the box next to the module's icon nor am I able to place a check next to the enable modules dialog from the module's configuration screen.

I'm able to enable and disable some of the modules. For example, I can enable and disable "Animated icons" but can do neither to "Hidden dock".

I've searched through the forums and on Google and have not been able to find anyone else that is having this problem.

Help please. I really want to use Cairo-Dock, but I have to be able to enable some of the modules, specifically the "Hidden dock" module.

Thanks.

Some modules are always selected because without them huge part of the dock would just not make sense (Hidden dock is one of them)

If you can enable what you need then all is good the one that you can't disable just don't worry about them

Can you make a list of the one you would like to disable and the one you can't enable (these one are more problematic if you can't enable them)

Check if you have enable an option like "Reserve space at the edge of the screen for the dock ?". Or launch Cairo-Dock from a terminal :
cairo-dock -o
