Hi,

Thanks for this report but how do you install the dock? which version ? What's your distribution (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora) and your desktop manager (Gnome, KDE, XFCE) ?
Do you have installed "libxklavier12" (or libxklavier12-dev if you have compiled CD)

could you try the SVN please ? because I've made some modification recently in this applet (not to correct a crash, but it may be a side effect).
also, running the dock with ddd will tell us where the crash occurs
