Hello
My name is Rob and I'm from Holland.
I like Cairo-Dock very much and would like to translate it into Dutch, but is there already someone busy with a Dutch translation?
When I want to ask something about some words or a sentence, what do I have to do and who do I ask things?
Greetings from Holland
Rob

A bug of ES... The right link is Translate Cairo-Dock

3) Move all to desktop %d > Does move mean ´Transfer´ here ?

4) Move to desktop %d > Does move mean ´Go to´ here ?

5) Move all to face %d > Does move mean ´Change´ here ?

6) Move to face %d > Does move mean ´Change´ here ?

Thanks

All of them mean Switch (Ik denk aan "verplaatsen" is de goede werkwoord ?)

You can see these messages when you do a right click on an apps / Other actions /

PS : maybe it can be better if you register on our forum

Mattbe, I think in English ´switch´ can be used for different things, like ´Go to´ or ´Change to´. ´Verplaatsen´ is a good Dutch translation, but I don´t think I can use it in Dutch for everything,, I think I have to be more specific, for example Switch to face is good in English but I can not use verplaatsen to face because it´s not good Dutch.
I tried to right-click on the apps and applets for ´Other actions´, but there is nothing there. I remember I have seen the option before for ´Other actions´ but not anymore, strange.

Which version do you have ?
Mine is 2.0.7., do you right-click on the apps or applets ? I don´t see anything like your image.

I'm on the SVN... but I always have had that !
I do a right-click on an apps or an opened launcher.

It's maybe a bug...

and the "all" version is when many applis of the same class are grouped inside a sub-dock.

I'm nearly finished with the Dutch translation, but I need some help with a view words.

What does the word 'act' mean and can someone give me another word for 'act', what I can use ?
1)You can then act on the window as if it was a taskbar icon.

What does the word 'interact' mean and can someone give me another word for 'interact', what I can use ?
2)Display and interact with the currently open windows.

What does the word 'grows up' mean and can someone give me another word for 'grows up', what I can use ?
3)It is their transparency when the dock is at rest; they will \"materialize\" progressively as the dock grows up. The closer to 0, the more transparent they will be.

Does the word 'steal/stealing' mean. Like stealing appli ? Do I translate steal literally ?
4)If you choosed to mix applis and launchers, you can edit the Pidgin launcher,\n
and in the “Extra parameters”, tick the box that says to not steal the icon for this appli.
5)It can be useful for instance for a launcher that launches a script in a terminal, but you don't want it to steal the Terminal's icon from the Taskbar.
6)Prevent this launcher from stealing appli from taskbar ?

Here, act and interact are two synonyms I think. It's not easy to find an other word but I think about to interfere (interageren ???)

3)It is their transparency when the dock is at rest; they will \"materialize\" progressively as the dock grows up. The closer to 0, the more transparent they will be.
I don't find this sentence but 'grows up' means groeien I think (een kinderen groeit )

Does the word 'steal/stealing' mean. Like stealing appli ? Do I translate steal literally ?
Yes, you can (it's the correct word in French and English). steal => als een dief
But you have maybe an other word in Dutch

1/ Hum I am the same I can't see how you can explain it better

3/ Grows up here has the meaning of a windows that is opening (going from minimised to open state)

I misread the sentence so Fabounet below is right (well obviously he was!!!)

4,5,6/ Steal here means more intercept, in my opinion

you can translate "steal" directly, in the meaning of "inhibate".

"grows up" is when the dock grows up after you've entered inside it.

"act on the window" : I meant, you'll have the menu to "interact" on it (like closing it, minimizing it, etc)

I'm finished with the Dutch translation. It's relatively quick but that's because I had done a lot of translating of Cairo-Dock before I offered to help.
I have done about 20 plug-ins too, but they are all seperate files instead of the one big new file.
Can I give you the separate plug-in files and keep on working on the big file, or do I have to give the one big file already which is partly translated.
Can you please tell me where to send the files.
Thanks
