Hi, I'm here again. Cairo dock 2.0.3 on Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 64 bit.
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/4473/dockshot.png
This is my dock, as you can see I drawn a yellow border at the far right of the dock. That border indicates the sensible area for the last applet on the dock, doesn' t matter wich applet, I tried to put there different applets but always the same behavior. It is a very large sensible area, approx from the same applet until the end of the dock. At the other side there is not the same problem, the sensible area is only the applet icon.
I wish to put an object and the right side of the dock, Horologe applet, detached from the bar in order to enlarge it, but it's very hard to put it there because every click I do is captured from the last applet on the left side of the dock.
Any solution?
Apart form that, there is a way to reduce the sensible area of the icons? I wish that the icon reacts only when the mouse pointer is in the merely icon surface, not above or below.
Thank you for your work. |

hello,
the dock's surface is rectanlgular, no matter how it is drawn, that's why you enter into the dock in this zone, even when there seems to be nothing.
I think this is your problem.
it might be a point of improvment |

If the dock surface is rectangular, why on the other side there is not the same problem?
What about the other question? is it possible to resize the sensible area of all the icons on the dock?
Thanks |

And the contextual menu is the CD one.
For the other side, there is the same "problem", but the contextual menu is the shortcut one !
Gnome, compiz, CD 2.0.5 . |
