When dragging launchers (.desktop files) from the Applications menu to the dock, then the dock breaks specified icons if they are given as a full path (not located in /usr/share/icons or something).

Here is an example:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Angry IP Scanner
Comment=Fast and friendly network scanner
Exec=/usr/bin/ipscan
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Icon=/usr/lib/ipscan/icon48.png
Categories=Application;Network;

After dragging this to the dock, the question mark (?) is displayed instead of the icon. When I select 'Modify launcher' by right clicking, I see Image's name or path is set to '/usr/lib/ipscan/icon48', so the trailing .png is truncated. Please don't truncate it when importing the launcher by drag and drop, because when adding '.png' to the end manually, it displays the icon properly.

ok a test should be done on the image name to see if it's an absolute path.
