Hello all,
I'm new to linux and have followed a tutorial to install Cairo-Dock after I tried AWN manager.
Just wanted to say I love Cairo-Dock and it's my preferred choice.
I found my way here after much searching of the internet, I'm hoping someone will be so kind as to help me.
On the tutorial I saw they where using Coz's Clear Theme.
I just loved the theme, but could not find it anywhere.
I then found this site, and searched it but the links to download Coz's theme seems dead.
Please could you help me get Coz's clear theme
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Keep up the good work |

his theme should be in the list of themes.
if you don't have any themes in the list, that's a previous bug that has been fixed on the SVN |

Fabounet thank you for the reply.
I don't see a clear theme to select.
Also I'm sorry but I don't know what SVN means
Should i uninstall and re-install the dock from synaptic?
Or run commands in terminal.
I'm using Ubuntu intrepid 8.10 64bit, if that makes a difference???
Thank you again for taking the time to reply |

ok I see, so you're missing all the packaged themes
they should be in /usr/share/cairo-dock/themes
how did you install the dock ? if from the SVN, then just install them. |

I installed cairo dock from add remove programs, no themes in the folder, though the folder exists. Tried sudo apt-get install.. cannot find package... Googeling the themes, but not finding any alternatives. The default theme is a bit too cute... |

You have to install it from Cairo-Dock repository : From the repository
All themes (except the default theme) are now available on Cairo-Dock server and you can test it with the themes manager (=> right click on the dock / Cairo-Dock) |

repository location (MAJOR) and name of program
i am having same problem except i see clear in the list
it just won't let me do anything with any of the themes |

please open a new topic rather than digging a 4-years old topic with a different problem
by the way, launching the dock from the terminal can give precious hints on what the problem is
you can still download and extract manually themes from http://download.tuxfamily.org/glxdock/themes, but that's a pain |
