Bonjour,
I have noticed recently that the indicator remains on after the application has closed but it seems to be restricted to graphics applications like Gimp, MyPaint etc etc. I have not tested all applications however Gimp , Pencil, my paint all have the indicator remain after application is closed. Only recently though..last few svn revisions.

I have it too, it's happen only with apps that have more than 1 windows with the same class.
The 2 windows of gimp have the same class, same for mplayer.

Maybe the dock haven't the time to see that the 2 windows are closed.
